Our Story

Founded in Love, Built on Purpose

The Victoria & James Akinleye Foundation was established in 2015 by Dr. Victoria Akinleye in loving memory of her late husband, James Akinleye. What began as a small family initiative to support widows and orphans in Ibadan, Nigeria, has blossomed into a registered nonprofit organization with operations across Nigeria and Canada.

James Akinleye was a man of deep faith and compassion who believed that true wealth is measured by the lives we touch. After his passing, Dr. Victoria Akinleye honoured his legacy by formalizing their family's charitable work into a structured foundation that could reach more communities and create lasting change.
